Supergrind Ultra is a premium quality versatile fully synthetic clear grinding fluid that is free from nitrites, phenols, sulphur and chlorinated additives. Through its exceptional balance of cooling and lubricating properties, it has the outstanding ability to produce ultra-fine surface finishes. The product may be used on all metal types with the exception of hard metal carbides, and is especially recommended for non-metals, composites and glasses. Supergrind Ultra is ideal for surface grinding and roll grinding and may be used for ultra-high speed machining of free cutting alloys. Additionally it provides good fines and high levels of protection against stains and corrosion in a clear biostable solution.

Areas of application:
Operations: Surface, Centreless and cylindrical grinding, ultra-fine roll grinding, high speed machining.
Materials: High carbon steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous alloys, non-metals composites and glass.
As a flood coolant, optimum concentration will be dependent upon specific machining operations, machined materials and water quality.
Non-critical Grinding: 2-2.5% typical
Fine Finish Grinding: 2.5-3% typical
Grinding metals: 3-4% typical
High Speed Cutting and Fine Machining: 4-6% typical
Note: Always use Supergrind CG for carbide grinding.
